What to Where: Thanksgiving Dinner

Untitled | via Tumblr

Hi there! For my American readers, Thanksgiving is coming up for you pretty quickly, next week to be exact. That will probably mean a turkey feast and food babies for all of you. Oh, and maybe a little shopping starting at 8, as well. ;)

Because of the feasting that will most likely occur, you'll probably want to stay comfortable, but that certainly doesn't mean sloppy. I've put together one casual, one dressy outfit, and one in-between. Enjoy!

Casual

WTW: Thanksgiving Dinner 2013 #1

Whenever I have a lazy day, I usually gravitate towards huge, oversize sweaters with comfy pants. To elevate that combination a bit, go for velvet leggings, a sweater in fall-inspired colours, and cool blue booties.

1. BDG Buffalo Plaid Tunic Sweater
2. ModCloth Knit Golden Circle Scarf
3. ASOS Velvet Leggings
4. Vince Camuto Calina Boot

In-between

To keep things light and fun, pair a romper or overalls with a funky sweater underneath and patterned socks. Top it all off with gold accessories and sturdy boots to complete the look! These velvet overalls are just perfect to get you in the spirit of things.

1. Chicwish Polo Fluffy Sweater
2. Wasteland Troublemaker Playsuit
3. Forever 21 Checkered Tights
4. Lulu*s Gold Earrings
5. ModCloth Earn Your Edge Boots
6. Urban Outfitters Classic Watch

Dressy

WTW: Thanksgiving Dinner 2013 #2

This dress looks so glamorous, yet carefree and really fuss-free. To add a little something to the outfit, pair it with patterned tights that match the dress, a statement necklace, earrings, and comfy combat boots. If you're going for something a bit more fancy, go for heels, platforms, or heeled boots.

1. Topshop Antique Pendant Necklace
2. ASOS Smocked Velvet Burnout Dress
3. Forever 21 Ladybug Studs
4. ModCloth Evening's Aura Tights
5. Etsy Delicate Gold Arrow Bangle
6. ModCloth Bold Baker Boots

Which outfit was your favourite? How will you be celebrating Thanksgiving? What are some of your things about the holiday? Leave your comments below!

Thanks for reading!
